6 Lessons Taught

Hello! My name is Niki and I tutor students in English and Law.

I graduated cum laude from Syracuse University law school, and while there, I was the Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. I also served as the Director of the Peer Tutoring Program and I was awarded numerous times by the university board for my efforts as a tutor.

A few years ago, I began teaching as a Professor of Law. While teaching a big law school class was rewarding - I missed my one-on-one time with students and the personalized aspect of tutoring. Now, I proudly dedicate all of my time to professionally tutoring students in English and Law.

During the last ten years, I have tutored a wide range of students in English - from middle school students still struggling to read to PhD candidates needing help writing their dissertations. Through this experience, I have become adept in effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds and varying degrees of ability and can keenly ascertain the best personalized course of tutoring for them.

I apply that same level of personalization to the course of instruction that I develop for the law students I tutor. I work with students to clarify the legal theory behind the (many) cases assigned. I also help students with briefing efficiency, exam writing (IRAC, issue spotting) and end of course outlines, while always trying to incorporate skills and techniques that they can eventually use during the bar exam.

I am excited to hear from some new and motivated students and I can't wait to help you understand your class and succeed in school. Please contact me with any questions you might have!
