20 Lessons Taught

My tutoring experience spans more than seven (7) years of private, one-on-one, group, middle school, high school and university level tutoring with credible training at several learning centers including Mathnasium and the Learning Academic Resource Center (LARC) at UC Irvine. One of the main activities that I enjoy to take part in is teaching. It is a great way to apply what I have learned and it gives me great satisfaction to see students have the 'aha' moment, when I explain difficult concepts in ways that are easier to understand. My philosophy for tutoring is to first establish a comfortable environment in which the student is not afraid to ask questions and then to challenge the student appropriately. With struggle comes progress and I always provide encouragement and motivation that, from past experiences, has led to positive end results.

I encourage you to ask me for a FREE trial tutoring session so you may determine if I am the best fit for your tutoring needs. I look forward to connecting with new students!
