My name is Sean, and I'm currently studying Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Economics at Fordham University at Lincoln Center on a full tuition merit scholarship. I'm originally from Florida, where all of my tutoring experience began, but I'm more than excited to be living in New York City now. My passion lies in promoting learning and achievement in students of all ages.

The first subject I tutored was Math. I began as a competition math team coach at my high school while only in the ninth grade and from there became a private one-on-one tutor for students in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I was the captain of my high school's math team and have always had a serious passion and talent for crunching numbers and teaching others how to crunch numbers. My students in the past have ranged from sixth graders in Algebra 1 to married adults looking to pass a calculus course to achieve an MBA. My experience as a tutor at such a young age has proven to be unimaginably helpful when working with students who are the same age I once was. I understand their issues at a deep level and am efficiently able to tackle their weaknesses. As a high school junior, I began to take a real interest in helping peers prepare for the SAT, and, before I knew it, I was getting paid to prepare students for their upcoming standardized tests.

I did not begin with perfect scores. My achievements came by way of practice and proper guidance. Very few people can take the SAT and attain perfect scores purely by way of natural ability. For the majority of high-scoring students it takes dedication in preparation, comfort when taking the test, and a bit of luck. I've studied this test for countless hours, and my work reflects it. I know how to get you the score that you want. I've been doing it for several years, and my personal scores and success stories reflect my expertise. I've been teaching and tutoring for almost four years now, and despite my relatively young age I have a wealth of knowledge and skills from my experience that truly guide my teaching abilities.

My relevant scores and accomplishments include a 99th Percentile SAT score, 99th Percentile PSAT score, 800 SAT Math, 800 SAT Writing, and 800 SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test. I was also one of 2500 selected as a National Merit Scholar out of millions of high school seniors. Additionally, I placed among the top 5% of all test-takers of the American Mathematics Competition 12 (AMC 12) and received a score of 5 on the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME). Anyone interested in competition math training or Olympiad math training should definitely contact me, as I also have a lot of experience with these tests. Particularly, I will help students prepare for the AMC 8, AMC 10 and MathCounts.

If you want a top-notch tutor for the upcoming SAT or a tutor to help you in your math class, then I'm your guy. I will help you raise your scores. Contact me today.
